Who We Are
Started by Yasmin Aishah (UK) and Hadeel Al Dada (Gaza), Olive Roots & Honey aims to support humanitarian relief and financial aid to communities and individuals in Palestine.
Hadeel and Yasmin have been in partnership supporting the Al Tuffah neighbourhood since June 2024.
Hadeel is a humanitarian activist leading a team of extraordinary volunteers providing relief and rebuilding efforts for their communities in the North of Gaza.
As the need for resources and financial support on the ground continues to increase, Olive Roots & Honey intends to expand the scope of advocacy and support and build a team of volunteers making a positive impact on hundreds of lives.
We intend to fully support our ‘Olive Roots’ ground team through fundraising and avocation from the UK base.
Our Mission
Our mission may be ambitious but it is very simple.
We want to make Palestinian voices heard and re-highlight the continued need for global support.
Save and sustain as many lives as possible.
Fill the gaps larger organisations don’t quite reach.
Yes, there are plenty of existing groups that already do things like this. We want to be an extra pair of hands!
The registers and spreadsheets for supporting gofundme campaigns within a lot of mutual aid groups fill up so quickly and not all voices are heard, we can be an extra measure.
